Almost everyone in California should have a will in place to ensure proper distribution of the estate outside of the default provisions of the Probate Code and specify who will be executor of the estate. If you own real estate, then you may also want to create a living trust so that your executor and beneficiaries can administer distribution without the need of court supervision.
I design my full estate-planning package to provide everything you need to protect your assets and make sure you and your loved ones are take care of no matter what happens. My living trust package includes:

A pour-over will—If anything was not funded in the living trust, this will provide funding

A living (revocable) trust

A power of attorney for personal and financial management (to avoid the expense of a conservatorship in the future)

A California Advance Healthcare Directive that lays out major end of life decisions and who will make health care decisions for you
My estate-planning package provides everything you need—including funding directions and deeds—at a flat rate. If you have an existing will or trust, I can review and update or amend it as necessary.
I also prepare special needs trusts for families with adult children who are incapacitated or unable to manage own affairs. This trust provides for the disabled child after your death by providing funds for travel, medical expenses, and other "special needs" without interfering with government benefits as the child does not have access to the funds.
